VAUGHN VANTASSELL MEMORIAL PARK
Kids and kids at heart need time outdoors too! The Vaughn VanTassell Memorial Park located at 27 Shreve Street in Digby is a wonderful place to burn off some energy.
The Vaughn VanTassell Memorial Playground is named and dedicated to Digby’s former fire chief for his 40-year commitment and dedication to the town and its people.
This community-built playground was made possible by the Mother’s On Playground Society.
Digby Splash Pad is closed for the season!
The Digby Splash Pad is now closed for the season and will re-open mid-June 2025.
The Digby Splash Pad is located within the Vaughn VanTassell Memorial Park. The splash pad brings opportunities for unstructured, inclusive and accessible play to all members of our community.
This community-built playground was made possible by the Digby Splash Park Society and many community sponsors and donors.
The Digby Splash Pad, place where you can play, splash and make new friends, is open daily 10:00AM – 8:00 PM. While visiting please remember the following rules.
- Splash Pad is unsupervised; adult supervision recommended; play at your own risk
- Keep Gum, Food and Drink off the Splash Pad
- Smoking/Vaping Not Permitted
- NO glass bottles
- NO skateboards, bikes, scooters or rollerblades on the Splash Pad
- Do not climb, pull or hang on the spray features
- Pets are Not allowed
- NO running or pushing
- Swim Diapers are required for any children who are not toilet trained
- Wheelchairs, walkers and other mobility aids are welcome on the Splash Pad
- Vacate splash pad during thunderstorms
- Users of all ages are welcome on the Splash Pad
- Be Respectful and share the space.
