Digby Area Recreation Commission is currently accepting applications for full time, seasonal positions. We are looking for fun, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to help lead our Summer Day Camps, Special Events, and Aquatic Program. DAY CAMP COORDINATOR
Reports To: Active Living Manager
Function: To work as a team leader, in consultation with the Active Living Manager, to plan, organize, and implement the summer day camp program.

DAY CAMP COUNSELLOR
Reports To: Day Camp Coordinator
Function: To be directly responsible for the direct supervision of the program participants and the safe and fun implementation of program activities.

SPORT & EVENT COORDINATOR
Reports To: Active Living Manager
Function: Responsible for providing support and/or programming at community events, and planning and implementing specialty camps and special events.

SPORT & EVENT COUNSELLOR
Reports To: Sport & Event Coordintor
Function: Assist the Sport & Event Coordinator in providing support and/or programming at community events, and planning, leading and implementing specialty camps and special events.

AQUATIC PROGRAM COORDINATOR 
Reports To: Recreation Director and/or Administrative Services Manager 
Function: Oversee the day to day operations of the outdoor pool and is responsible for the overall safety of a variety of swimmers utilizing the pool, and must have the ability to effectively aand effecintly protect the safety of swimmers.
Qualifications: Current certification in National Lifesaving, First Aid, and Royal Lifesaving's Learn-To-Swim or Red Cross Water Safety Instructor .

LIFEGUARD
Reports To: Aquatic Program Coordinator
Function: The Lifeguard must provide pool supervision to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, and be capable of providing first aid treatment where necessary.
Qualifications: Certification in National Lifesaving and First Aid

SWIM INSTRUCTOR 
Reports To: Aquatic Program Coordinator
Function: Responsible for teaching and evaluating candidates participating in the Royal Lifesaving Swim For Life and Canadian Swim Patrol programs.
Qualifications: Certification in Royal Lifesaving's Learn-To-Swim or Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and First Aid.
